LSU at Alexandria housing scholarships for The Oaks apartments are available for the fall semester for students with a minimum 20 ACT composite score, announced Larry Williams, director of housing operations.

The $1,100 scholarship covers half the cost of a fully furnished one-bedroom apartment in a four-bedroom configuration. The lease runs Aug. 18 through May 31, and it includes utilities, cable, Internet, computer lab, tutoring, swimming pool and recreational facilities, and weekly social functions with food provided.

Students must complete a housing scholarship application, which is different from the general scholarship application. They are available at the Office of Enrollment Management at Abrams Hall or at The Oaks. Tours of the new on-campus apartments are available through general manager Angie Rollins 767-2616.
